Comment by d@ndee lyon May 12, 2009 @ 3:55 amHi. I’m totally exited to come to the bash back convergence in chicago this year, but I have a few questions. where are these events taking place? are the locations near each other? I have never been to chicago before, are people trying to provide accommodations? temporary squats, food not bombs, dumpster maps, or other ways of feeding people? this event is seventeen days away and I want to come, but am not sure how I will house myself over the weekend, or what part of town these events and workshops are taking place. Is it going to be a centralized event, or will workshops, discussions etc. be at peoples houses all over chicago? I’m glad that yall have prepared so many things for this event and have invited people to come to your city for this weekend full of radical queer insurrectional energy, but I just want to figure out where I’m going to sleep at night, and how I’ll get to all these amazing events. thanks, -Esme
Comment by Esme May 12, 2009 @ 8:37 pmSo when should we plan on leaving chicago? The last thing on here is dinner on Sunday but I don’t see the entertainment listed. If we have the choice, would you rather we leave Sunday night or Monday morning?
Comment by circleA May 13, 2009 @ 4:59 amEmail the housing people for housing requests. There should be more info about doing that on this website or the facebook event. We’re trying to provide food for everyone and it is a centralized locale.
Comment by keldyke May 13, 2009 @ 10:38 pmwhat is an “auxiliary caucus”?

Comment by matt May 14, 2009 @ 3:32 pmNaughty North! will not be presenting the Reviving our Queer Archives workshop, nor attending.
Comment by conrad May 15, 2009 @ 2:59 am“what is an “auxiliary caucus”?”
A caucus where allies of oppressed groups discuss ways to reject/fight privilege, and develop strategies for being better allies.

Comment by Memfisting May 15, 2009 @ 3:41 amThe location will be announced closer to the convergence.
The events will all be accessible to each other.
Vegan food will be provided to everyone, and folks with allergies will be provided for also.
